Final Disposition was one of the Official Selections from the Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation and Technology’s 2024 festival that accepted the Filmmaker Mixer Podcast’s offer to review their work. It is a 2D animated, informative short film that educates the audience about death and the different traditions that human cultures have when it comes to handling their dead. It has this really beautiful animation style. It has a loose, illustrated quality to it, and these incredibly beautiful color choices. I found it very nice to look at. The subject matter is very interesting and had me invested in what was being taught from start to finish. I found it really well written and well-narrated.
