Vortex was one of the Official Selections from the Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation and Technology’s 2024 festival that accepted the Filmmaker Mixer Podcast’s offer to review their work. It is a live action short film consisting of various drone shots over the Australian outback. These gorgeous shots often include footage of twisters forming in the air and are nothing short of incredible to look at. The music brings the footage of a sense of adventure and intrigue. It is truly a fascinating display of such a hardcore and beautiful environment.
